For the tomato sauce:
In a pan add oil, crushed garlic. Saute till golden brown.
Add chopped onions. Saute till pink.
Add chopped tomatoes, salt, pepper and bay leaves. Saute till tomatoes are cooked.
Puree the sauce and strain to form a fine puree. Keep aside.
For the seafood:
In a pan add oil, chopped onion and garlic. Saute.
Add lobsters, prawns and scallops. Saute for a few minutes and add white wine to de-glaze.
Pour the prepared tomato sauce and cook for 2 minutes.
Add sliced squid and crab meat. Cook for 5 minutes.
Add the boiled spaghetti, sprinkle a generous amount of chopped basil.
